This week we dove into Link Building and Google Analytics, specifically GA 4.
Link Building is a large part of increase SEO. The best way to create a network through link building is to create a strategy. The strategy should answer:
Who? – Who are we asking to build the link with?
When? – When is our deadline? How often are we going to refresh that connection or update the link?
What? – What is the business advertising for our business?
How? – How will we make this link/connection benefit our company? Why should this other company connect with us?
Where will the links be gathered? – What specific platforms will be spreading the link connection?
As discussed in Week 9, Google Analytics is a great way to keep track of your websites accessibility. GA 4 is an updated version that goes even deeper into the analytics, letting you see anything from which page gets viewed the most, to the age, gender, and location of your viewers. The downside to GA 4 is it requires a subscription, unlike the free version discussed in Week 9. For beginners, the original version will work fine, but once the business becomes successful enough, or if you can afford it before then, GA 4 would be a good investment.
