This week we focused on choosing between the different options for website builders and hosts. A website builder is pretty self-explanatory, it is a site that helps you design your website. A host is a site that gets your website out on the internet for people to access. Many hosts offer website builders and vice versa, but not always. There are a lot of things to consider when comparing them. I focused on subscription prices, simplicity, and management accessibility. There are a lot of cheap websites that are easy to start but hard to manage after the fact, and others that have great accessibility but are too expensive. There are other things to keep in mind, like compatibility between the host and the site builder, or whether they offer an ad credit, and much more. Keep in mind that the importance of each criteria is all subjective. Think about what is most important to you and compare several sites to find the one that suits all your needs the best.
