This week we discussed Quality Scores and Google Analytics and Tags. Quality Scores are calculated by the performance of expected clickthrough rate, ad relevance, and landing page experience. It is always good to have a high Quality Score. If you notice your score is lacking, first review the components to determine which area you are struggling in. Based off that answer, the most common ways you can fix you issue is by making your ad more relevant to your keywords, updating your landing page, and reviewing your ad creation.
Google Analytics will be very useful for your business. They monitor the traffic on your site, showing which ad combinations get the most clicks, how long viewers stay in each area of the site, and much more. This sort of information helps teach you what areas of your website your customers like the most so you can grow your business to its fullest. Google Tags will help attach the Analytics to your website easier. Setting up Google Analytics and the Tag itself can be pretty difficult to apply to your site, but between Analytics help videos, Google tech support, and other search engines, all it takes is a little bit of dedication. Despite the effort, the benefits definitely make it worth applying the Analytics and Tag to your website.
